The home stretch is coming!!
Once we got back from vacation, we were pretty sure we would just leave our suitcases packed and move right on in to the new house.
Well, that isn't exactly how it will go....
Things have been moving along since we left, but there were still delays.
Nonetheless, here is the progress made:
The painters have been busy painting trim and walls:
They also were staining and sealing cabinets:
And painting doors. Looks pretty funny with all the doors lined up across the living room:
Marble vanity tops were put in:
The other bathrooms and kitchen have granite that will come tomorrow.
The deck stairs are shaping up nicely:
And the exterior is looking good!
The stone is all finished up outside:
Stucco has been applied and will be painted next week:
And finally.....we have concrete!!!
Most of the driveway is poured and Adam's side drive is in.
Tomorrow I should have a sidewalk and the rest of the back patio will be poured.
The really big news, though, is that we have a date!!!!
August 8th!!
I was pretty bummed to hear the "A" word, but it is what it is.
