Caroline.....8 months (and everything else I have neglected to post in recent weeks)

Prepare yourselves for a photo dump of randomness.....

My brain has been processing so many things at once recently that my gift to organize simply will not apply to things such as blogs.

I will start with Caroline.....she is 8 months old!!!

Adam and I keep saying that out of all of them, she is the happiest kid!  She is always just so happy with whatever is going on and she is really the easiest baby!

She LOVES bath time....especially when sister joins her.

We took a trip to Joplin to visit Granny Goose before Christmas.  She was a doll!

And she has now attended her first (probably of many) Ugly Christmas Sweater parties.  You haven't lived until you have done the Ugly Sweater thing....

She did really well at all the holiday shows that Landon had too.

Caroline is by far the best at doing chores....she just hops on up to help!

She wanted to play in the snow so bad the first time it came down, but I was a mean mom and said no.  Too cold for someone to just sit in it and I was being lazy.  It is hard work to get everyone all bundled up just to go outside for 5 minutes!

Maybe Reese will let me out....

Then we went to Union Station to see Santa Claus and the trains.  She was awesome!

First time with Santa:

Then it was Christmas....her First Christmas!

She will eat anything you put in front of her, so she got all the good stuff for Christmas dinner!

Her and Avery get along really well, especially when it is just the two of them.  I am excited to see them be friends when they grow up (and get beyond the teenage years!)

She has fun with Landon too.... he is so protective of her!

Our newest trick??  Climbing stairs!

And this goofball.....guess what she finally decided was the neatest thing??  Her nuk!!!  Do you have any idea how long I tried to get her to like that thing??

And take a look at this.....

Oh yes, and she has found the one switch in the whole house she can reach.  It turns on the island lights.....and she knows it.  On and off, on and off....

Just today, she finally started sporting her first set of teeth!!  She has been working hard for those for months!  I can only hope the others don't take quite as long.....

So, the rest of the crew has just been going along as always.  Our house has spent the past month passing around just about every illness, so we have been recuperating and disinfecting like mad!

Now we are on the up and up and we can catch up on the holiday happenings and everything else of late!

Here comes the random photo dump....

Avery had a date with Daddy :)

And then while Landon was in Branson with Grandma and Grandpa, Avery and I went to the aquarium.

Her little boyfriend Liam went with us.....those two are cuties!

Here is Avery at Landon's Christmas show.....

Not 2 hours later the flu hit her and then the rest of us followed.....

Landon did a great job with his show, though!  I am glad the plague avoided us until after his show!

He had a show at church with his choir too.  He was ready to sing!

And of course, just a few hours after this show, he got sick too!

But at least everyone was better for Christmas!

Landon was glad we all were well enough to get to Union Station.  He talked about nothing but seeing Santa!

Then we remember how he did once he got to see Santa......

We made sure to put in a special word via our elf "Freckle" so that Santa knew what Landon wanted for Christmas, since he ran off screaming before getting to talk to him.  I think it worked...those kids made out like bandits (as always!)

So just a random thing.....Avery is such a diva!!  I mean, Dee-Vah!!!
She is always getting dressed up and wanting to go out!

She says "Bye Mom, I am going to the store for blueberries (??)."
We better watch out....I just nonchalantly said Ok a while back and she actually went out the door!

I am tellin' you what!  It is a crazy life, but it sure can be fun!
